It feels good to be done with my first semester and with all A's. Maybe next semester I'll actually have to study for something. *shrugs* Who knows. I have two exams tomorrow and I just spent the last few hours watching The A-Team with my uncle. Sooo stressful!!! OMG!!! What will I ever do with all this crazy hard college stuff. Heheh, weak. Dreaming of sandier places...

Before I get started here... I wrote an entry a week or so ago that vanished mysteriously after I clicked submit. I didn't have the time to rewrite it and I doubt I will. I'm sure it was something mundane anyway.
Last night I had an odd little dream and the sandier places I refer to is not the beach. I was back in Afghanistan, apparently contracting because I had rather lengthy hair and was wearing civilian clothes, but nonetheless... back there. Holy what the hell... I don't even know where to begin and this journal will definitely not do the last couple days justice. Let me try to collect my thoughts and get some form to this entry. So, biggest event first. ROCKY IS A FREAKING LIEUTENANT!!! He just finished his officer course and I made it down to Alabama to attend his state oath and met some of his pilot buddies from his unit, sat through his federal oath, the dinner for their rewards ceremony and finally the drill ceremony.
